Rishi Sunak, the UK Prime Minister, and Justin Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, took to social media to support their chosen sides. Sunak's family photo showed solidarity with Barbie and he wrote, “The family vote was only ever going one way,” while Trudeau posted a photo of him and his son heading to watch Barbie with the caption, “We're team Barbie.”

Yet, this enthusiasm hasn't been shared by everyone. Andrew Tate, a social media influencer with controversial views, voiced his discontentment at world leaders discussing a movie choice. He suggested that there might be unseen influences behind this, using phrases like the "homosexual mafia" and "satanists." Tate implied that these expressions were attempts to assert control and dominance. His tweet read:

I have never seen western world leaders speak about going to the movies before. However, the satanists demand that you publicly sacrifice any remnant of masculinity to the homosexual mafia. The overlords want your soul. They also want you to tell the world that they own you.

Tate also stated that his resolute masculinity had made him a target of criticism, and he claimed to have rejected offers and opportunities in exchange for his silence on certain matters. “They hate me, and attack me because my masculine essence makes it very clear that I havnt sold out. They invited me – Private parties, Private islands, Celebrity parties, Special “Agents” and “Managers” Even sponsorship contracts if I dont discuss certain things. $50,000,000. I said no to everything. Then I went to jail,” he continued.

Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, are currently facing charges related to human trafficking and rape. They were arrested in December and were shifted to house arrest three months later in Romania. Their detention has been lifted and they are allowed to move freely around the capital, Bucharest, and the Ilfov district where they live.
