Hate speech charge added to 8 FIRs over protests in Delhi

Delhi Police have added hate speech charges to eight out of the 26 FIRs registered against protests by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal.

Sultanpuri horror: Forensic tests show blood on wheels, not inside car

No evidence has been found so far of the 20-year-old Sultanpuri victim’s presence inside the grey Baleno that dragged her for at least 14km, but traces of blood were present on the wheels and the base of the car, indicating that she was stuck under it, forensic officials said on Wednesday.

Sultanpuri accident: Sole breadwinner, victim wanted to join politics

According to police, five men in a grey Maruti Suzuki Baleno hit the 20-year-old while she was riding her scooty in the early hours of January 1. The impact entangled her body to the underside of the car but the accused drove on, dragging her body for at least 14km before it dislodged in a mangled state.
