Congress leader Rahul Gandhi returned to Lok Sabha days after his conviction in a defamation case was stayed by the Supreme Court. Legislators of Congress and the INDIA alliance gave a rousing welcome to Rahul Gandhi in Parliament. Rahul attended a session which was adjourned due to constant sloganeering by opposition leaders. Rahul’s return to Parliament will give a further boost to the opposition, which has been trying to corner the Modi government in Parliament over the Manipur issue.
